bob searl
Senior Pastor
Bob has been giddily married to his girlfriend, Debbie, for 43 years. They have two children and two adorable granddaughters, and their over-indulged Morkie bearing the name Izzy manages the home. Because he is a native Wisconsinite, Bob is also a cheese-loving, insufferable Packer fan who is quick to say, “If the Packers play at noon and the sermon seems a little shorter, its only a coincidence.” He plays the guitar, loves the theater and movies, and owns more books than he has read. Bob has served churches in Missouri, Wisconsin, Florida, and Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University with a BA in Church Music, and earned an M.Div and D.Min from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City.

Kristin loves to garden, stay active, and to take every possible chance to read and drink tea. Kristin’s all-time favorite TV show is Bonanza. She loves all music, but Broadway musicals are a special favorite. Her kryptonite is dark chocolate.

Melissa johansen
Associate Minister of Music and Media
Melissa and her husband, Andy, have been members at Spring Creek since 1998. Melissa and Andy felt at home at Spring Creek immediately and knew then, they had found their home. Their two children, Emma & Carter, were raised in Spring Creek and continue to remain active in the church when home from college.
Melissa has served at Spring Creek as a volunteer as the Children’s Choir Director since 1999, sang in the adult choir, served as interim music minister and has led the handbell choir at various times. However, in 2010 Melissa was hired as the pianist for the church on Easter. Playing for worship and helping in the weekly worship planning meetings has been life-giving for Melissa. In 2018, Melissa joined the teaching staff of the Mother’s Day Out Program as the music teacher making good use of her Music Education Degree. In addition to her church work, Melissa runs a private piano studio where she teaches on average 30 private piano lessons each week.
